Tropical florals in shades of violet enhanced the romantic factor in Alexis & Josh’s Sanibel beach wedding. Their ceremony on the beach at Casa Ybel Resort was breathtaking as the waves of the Gulf of Mexico lapped the shore and a gentle sea breeze filled the air. The sunset was one not to be missed! If it wasn’t for the gorgeous bride, the florals from this intimate beach wedding might have been the show stopper of the day. With bright blue skies and a few clouds drifting in the background, the floral arch at their beach ceremony framed the happy couple as they said their I Do’s. Bright tropical colors accentuated the arch, Ally’s bouquet and the hand painted wedding cake. Casa Ybel’s patio venue was the perfect location for the intimate wedding reception. It was a stunning sunset on the beach that somehow perfectly matched the couple’s wedding color scheme.

Raquel and Greg were such a fun couple to work with, their love and excitement on wedding day obviously shines here. Lush greenery accents could be found everywhere; the arch on the beach, the sweetheart table, and Raquel’s stunning flower crown. Casa Ybel’s white sandy beach hosted the intimate ceremony and guests were wined and dined on Thistle Lodge’s patio. The grounds through out Casa Ybel offered some amazing spots for Raquel and Greg’s first look photos and the Gulf of Mexico proved a stunning backdrop for sunset beach photos.

Intimate Backlawn Ceremony { Kirsten + Ian } Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

Hues of peach and gold accents gave a romantic touch to Kirsten and Ian’s wedding day. Libby’s Flowers brought in fresh greenery to accent the soft elegance in the rose bouquets and centerpieces. The Groom’s bowtie, Mom’s elegant dress, the welcome bags, all boasted shades of pink. Last but certainly not least was one last touch of “peach”, the signature drink. A peach mojito made to order for guests at the reception fit right into the theme.

Guests at Laura and Brian’s ceremony and following reception were treated to the complete wedding day celebration. After a champagne welcome and sweet ceremony on the beach, guests made their way to the tented back lawn. A variety of passed appetizers, hand crafted cocktails and tropical tunes from Wiley Entertainment were waiting to be enjoyed. After dinner and dancing the party moved into Thistle Lodge’s bar, snacks and drinks ready for guests to take a break from dancing the night away.

Lush Seaside Landscape {Emily + David} Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

Casa-Ybel-Wedding(2) Guests were met with flutes of bubbling champagne on the beach, billowy white clouds scattered throughout the blue skies over the beach, and strains of ukulele music in the wind. All of these elements made for the perfect beach wedding for Emily and David. Their intimate ceremony on the beach was followed by a mouthwatering dinner on the patio at Thistle Lodge. Beautifully plated grilled filet mignon and butter poached lobster tails were followed by Lady Cakes delicious lemon buttercream filled cake.
