So many Casa Ybel wedding couples book because Sanibel Island is a special place to them.  It’s not uncommon for our destination clients to schedule a trip to the island for planning purposes and, while they’re here, an engagement photo shoot on the beach.  Before Audrey and Stephen tied the knot at Casa Ybel Resort, they stopped by for a photo session on the diverse property.

Enchanted Tropical Beach Wedding – Casa Ybel Resort, Sanibel Island { Janine + Marcus }

It was tropical, yet whimsical.  It’s hard to explain just what it was about Janine and Marcus’s beach wedding that made it so enchanting.  Perhaps the lush floral spheres lining their sandy aisle or the oversized tropical leaves adorning their arch.  Perhaps it was just the sweet sounds of the ocean lapping the beach and the gentle seabreeze that put everyone in the mood for celebrating.  Perhaps it was Janine and Marcus.  Their Sanibel wedding reception kicked off on Casa Ybel’s ocean front lawn and continued through the night with dinner and dancing in the elegant fabric-lined outdoor tent.

Master Planner and Designer Kehrin Hassan of Jet Set Wed, shares her unexpected take on beach weddings in this incredible photo shoot at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island.  An appreciation for the textures and colors of the sea are manifest in this dreamy oceanfront vignette.  Seaoats and bits of shell and hand calligraphed wedding invitations speak to Hassan’s outside-the-box approach to design.
