The incredible Courtney Gabelbauer of Fabulously Chic Weddings designed a whimsical space with hanging glass globes, warm candle light and kick-ass entertainment. This all-star vendor line up brought Jennifer & Kiel’s beach wedding dream to life.

After a long cold winter in Wisconsin, what could be better than a beach wedding on the sunny shores of Sanibel Island, Florida? This tropical wedding in paradise could not have been more perfect. Lauri and Bryan said their vows with toes in the sand at Casa Ybel Resort and enjoyed a night with their nearest and dearest on the resort’s open-air patio.
Lush greenery with touches of tropical fruits adorn the tables for a Florida wedding with an authentic island vibe styled by the talented Elleson Events. The circular arch of big green leaves sets the tone at the beach side ceremony and later frames the couple as they dine on the ocean front lawn at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island.
Morning weddings are so nice! Not that anyone needs an excuse for a mimosa or bloody mary, but we think they’re more enjoyable when celebrating the union of two great people like Diane and Peter. This fabulous couple (and their fabulous pup) hopped down to Florida from Virginia to get married on the beach at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island. Brunch in the Waterfront Room was stunning with ocean views and gorgeous turquoise details.

Does this even look like a real place?! It is, we promise. Jessica and John escaped to Florida with their nearest and dearest for an intimate beach wedding at Casa Ybel Resort. Shell strewn beach, colorful sunset, lush tropical foliage…It may look like a dream come true. We assure you, it was.
Oh, that morning light! If you’ve never taken a morning walk along the ocean, I recommend putting it on your vacation to-do list. Nikki and Ben wanted to share that experience with their guests – the calmly lapping waters, the gentle morning sun and the sense that this day could last forever. After their beach wedding, festivities continued with brunch on Casa Ybel Resort’s Patio where guests sipped mimosas and noshed on eggs benny. When it was all over, Nikki and Ben took an afternoon swim on what would end up being a day that has indeed lasted forever.
Allyssa and Cody brought the party from the Midwest down to Sanibel Island, FL, for a perfect sunset beach wedding at Casa Ybel Resort and nature did not disappoint. The fates (and some good decisions on Allyssa & Cody’s part) brought them perfect beach weather and an even more perfect wedding sunset. The talented Joe Capasso photographed these two beautifully!
