Hues of peach and gold accents gave a romantic touch to Kirsten and Ian’s wedding day. Libby’s Flowers brought in fresh greenery to accent the soft elegance in the rose bouquets and centerpieces. The Groom’s bowtie, Mom’s elegant dress, the welcome bags, all boasted shades of pink. Last but certainly not least was one last touch of “peach”, the signature drink. A peach mojito made to order for guests at the reception fit right into the theme.

These are some of our favorite photos, those last few moments of quiet before the whirlwind begins. The bride reflecting on the importance of this day, her husband to-be waiting for her, and all of the friends and family who have come to witness their declaration of love.
Dede and Charlie said their I Do’s a year ago on the lush green lawn at Casa Ybel and it’s one of those weddings we talk about still. The details were simple yet spectacular under the tent. Bouquets of white lilies were a stunning contrast against the bridesmaids navy dresses. Krista from Impressions Photography did an amazing job incorporating the landscape of Casa Ybel into the story of the couples wedding day, photos we’re still ooh-ing and ahh-ing over.
Julie and BJ brought in colors from the beautiful gulf waters and Florida skies when planning their Sanibel Island dream wedding. Carrie Darling Events made sure no detail was missed with coordinating coral centerpieces, personalized drink coozies, and custom stationary to make sure guests knew all the details for each wedding event. The fun continued late into the night with an after party at Thistle Lodge with late night snacks and cocktails.
When Becky and Matt told us that they hired Kelly McWilliams to plan their Sanibel Island beach wedding, we knew that it would be elegant and sophisticated – because that’s what Kelly does. From the romantic florals on the beach, to the cozy lounge furniture on the tented lawn, this wedding was luxurious down to the last detail.
There are few things we love more at Casa Ybel Resort than beach weddings that sparkle. Taryn and David’s Sanibel Island wedding was romantic from the white sand ceremony to the dazzling blush reception overlooking the ocean. While romance was already in the air, the shimmer and shine of it all brought smiles to all who saw.
When we found out that Erin was an interior designer, we knew her Sanibel Island wedding would be beautiful. We weren’t prepared for how gorgeous every detail would be. From the ocean front lawn ceremony to the tented reception on the Gulf of Mexico, everything had Erin’s designer touch.
