Jennifer and Kiel’s wedding last fall at Casa Ybel Resort was an autumn dream!  It’s no surprise that the renowned wedding blog, Style Me Pretty chose to feature it.  Lush greenery paired with wine and latte colored blooms – a palette that beckons the comforts of the season.  The incredible Courtney Gabelbauer of Fabulously Chic Weddings designed a whimsical space with hanging glass globes, warm candle light and kick-ass entertainment.  This all-star vendor line up brought Jennifer & Kiel’s beach wedding dream to life.

Rustic weddings are still in!  Couples are freshening up the look with soft touches that feel romantic and sophisticated while keeping the simple charm.  Megan and Kevin said no thanks to the barn and took to the ocean instead in this charming Sanibel Island wedding at Casa Ybel Resort.  Long wooden tables were swathed in billowy soft blush chiffon, romantic pastel blooms and candles as far as the eye could see.

Sanibel Island is one of Florida’s most natural islands.  Conservation of the local flora and fauna is extremely important to the residents and visitors.  This connection to nature is one of many reasons couples choose the island for destination weddings.  Danielle and Dan’s wedding at Casa Ybel Resort was filled with nods to nature.  An escort card display filled with sand from the beach, pieces of driftwood adorning the tables, and all outdoors on the ocean front lawn gave wedding guests a sense of place.

Haley and Eyad’s outdoor wedding at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island was reminiscent of an old English Garden.  Only it was in Florida. On the beach.  And it was unbelievably gorgeous.  With some design help from Fabulously Chic Weddings and a lot of hard work from Haley’s mom, this wedding was perfectly sweet, romantic and timeless.

When Grace and Danny hired Floral Artistry for their tented wedding at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island, they gave them artistic freedom of design.  The results were remarkable: lush, tropical greenery, timeless white blooms and perfectly placed touches of gold.  Grace and Danny said their vows in a lawn wedding ceremony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.  Their tented wedding reception was also on a Gulf-view lawn where guests could enjoy an authentic Sanibel experience under the stars.

This was their “fun” wedding.  Boy, did they do it right!  Leslie and Adam invited their favorite people to join them for a wedding weekend getaway on Sanibel Island, Florida.  Their playful wedding vows on the beach had guests in stitches and their colorful table top decor on Casa Ybel Resort’s tented oceanfront lawn was the perfectly suited for this larger-than-life couple.  We loved their tropical details, their boho-chic headbands and everyone was a fan of the temporary tattoo station!  It was an unforgettable weekend with an unforgettable couple!

Don’t underestimate the awe-factor a classic gold and white wedding can produce.  Lauren & Joe’s Sanibel Island wedding kicked off on the gorgeous Gulf view lawn at Casa Ybel Resort.  Guests supped on island style fare from the award winning culinary team at Thistle Lodge as they dined and danced under a tent on the ocean front back lawn.  The white roses on the gold trimmed tables were simply elegant.

Enchanted Tropical Beach Wedding – Casa Ybel Resort, Sanibel Island { Janine + Marcus }

It was tropical, yet whimsical.  It’s hard to explain just what it was about Janine and Marcus’s beach wedding that made it so enchanting.  Perhaps the lush floral spheres lining their sandy aisle or the oversized tropical leaves adorning their arch.  Perhaps it was just the sweet sounds of the ocean lapping the beach and the gentle seabreeze that put everyone in the mood for celebrating.  Perhaps it was Janine and Marcus.  Their Sanibel wedding reception kicked off on Casa Ybel’s ocean front lawn and continued through the night with dinner and dancing in the elegant fabric-lined outdoor tent.
