Toes in the sand, walking hand in hand. Trish and Chad’s beach wedding at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island was picture perfect. This intimate group of family and friends celebrated the joyous occasion by dancing the night away on the open-air patio.
Tropical wedding décor is so chic right now! We fell head over heels for Allyson & Chad’s beach wedding palette of bright colors and tropical blooms. Their intimate group of family and friends joined them at Sanibel Island’s Casa Ybel Resort for a wedding ceremony on the white sand beach and reception on the open air patio.
Linda and Dave like to have a little fun in life, you can see that from their wedding photos. Their funky style definitely came through in the personalized touches at their ceremony and reception. Guests were never bored, the abundance of self serve candy machines, a photo booth with endless props and a scavenger hunt kept guests entertained. The reception, in Casa Ybel’s Waterfront Room, featured a elegant plated dinner and a host of sweet treats for dessert. We can’t forget to mention the unique favors, each guest took home a personalized Lego figure, such a fun idea!
If it wasn’t for the gorgeous bride, the florals from this intimate beach wedding might have been the show stopper of the day. With bright blue skies and a few clouds drifting in the background, the floral arch at their beach ceremony framed the happy couple as they said their I Do’s. Bright tropical colors accentuated the arch, Ally’s bouquet and the hand painted wedding cake. Casa Ybel’s patio venue was the perfect location for the intimate wedding reception. It was a stunning sunset on the beach that somehow perfectly matched the couple’s wedding color scheme.
Raquel and Greg were such a fun couple to work with, their love and excitement on wedding day obviously shines here. Lush greenery accents could be found everywhere; the arch on the beach, the sweetheart table, and Raquel’s stunning flower crown. Casa Ybel’s white sandy beach hosted the intimate ceremony and guests were wined and dined on Thistle Lodge’s patio. The grounds through out Casa Ybel offered some amazing spots for Raquel and Greg’s first look photos and the Gulf of Mexico proved a stunning backdrop for sunset beach photos.
For Stephanie and Austin it was important for them to incorporate family into their wedding on the beach at Casa Ybel. The calm waters of the gulf behind them for the ceremony, their daughter took part in the I Do’s and his mother created the simple yet elegant bridal party bouquets. Guests moved in the the Waterfront Room at Thistle Lodge for the reception. Friends and family were treated to an impressive dinner buffet that included Hibachi Salmon and a Beef Strip Loin carving station. The new Mr. and Mrs. had the opportunity to take some stunning photos after dark on the beach and in front of the Thistle Lodge.
Summer and Yi wanted something a little different when they came to Casa Ybel to plan their perfect wedding day. The back lawn was the perfect location but they wanted an open feeling not covered by a tent. An inviting farm table, cafe lights strung between palms and succulent florals all made this intimate dinner a night to remember under the stars for the radiant bride and groom.
Stacey and Matt’s tented wedding reception was almost as breathtaking as the bride herself. The textured blush linens beneath crystal chandeliers set a soft romantic tone for this Sanibel Island beach wedding at Casa Ybel Resort.
If you think that beach weddings are synonymous with casual, you’re wrong. Once more, Courtney Gabelbauer of Fabulously Chic Weddings proves that beach weddings can be the most elegant and glamorous. We already shared Heather and Jim’s wedding video, but the photos are just as gush-worthy. We think you’ll agree that the Waterfront Room at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island is the perfect setting for romantic waterfront wedding receptions.
