There is a timelessness to the ocean. It is never quite the same, but it’s always there. It’s simple appearance belies it’s complexity. The ocean has long been a symbol for love. Sophia and Arnold’s beach wedding at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island was filled with elements of the sea (and love). Her gown was classic yet incredibly stunning. The soft touches of blush in the bridesmaid gowns were elegant and sophisticated. And yet, there in the subtle details, the programs, the cake, were elements of the sea. Elements as timeless as love itself.

The soft pink and grey color scheme was perfect against the aqua sea where their beach wedding took place. Enchanted Tropical Beach Wedding – Casa Ybel Resort, Sanibel Island { Janine + Marcus }

It was tropical, yet whimsical. It’s hard to explain just what it was about Janine and Marcus’s beach wedding that made it so enchanting. Perhaps the lush floral spheres lining their sandy aisle or the oversized tropical leaves adorning their arch. Perhaps it was just the sweet sounds of the ocean lapping the beach and the gentle seabreeze that put everyone in the mood for celebrating. Perhaps it was Janine and Marcus. Their Sanibel wedding reception kicked off on Casa Ybel’s ocean front lawn and continued through the night with dinner and dancing in the elegant fabric-lined outdoor tent.

Pineapples. We love Jennifer & Jeffery’s tropical design and all the pineapples they included in the décor. Their super tropical beach wedding at Sanibel Island’s Casa Ybel Resort started off with toes in the sand and continued through the night on the oceanfront lawn. The tented reception was decked out with brightly colored florals, tropical greenery and, yep, pineapples. Did we mention how much we love the pineapples?
