Chic Tropical Tent Wedding on Sanibel Island { Jennifer + Jeffrey }

Pineapples.  We love Jennifer & Jeffery’s tropical design and all the pineapples they included in the décor.  Their super tropical beach wedding at Sanibel Island’s Casa Ybel Resort started off with toes in the sand and continued through the night on the oceanfront lawn.  The tented reception was decked out with brightly colored florals, tropical greenery and, yep, pineapples.  Did we mention how much we love the pineapples?

Ocean Front Wedding on Florida’s West Coast – Casa Ybel Resort, Sanibel Island { Jill + David }

Would it be cheesy to say we were totally “pumped” when professional body builders Jill and David selected Casa Ybel Resort for their beach wedding? Okay, we’ll stop!  There was nothing cheesy about this elegant fall celebration.  Jill and David’s wedding was one of the first ones we hosted after Hurricane Irma and we were so happy to show them that the property was still in top shape and ready for a weekend of fun!  We were gushing over Jill’s delicate floral arch and sweet blush and champagne linens.  Jill and Dave were as sweet as their ice cream sundae bar and we can’t wait to see them again!

Intimate Backlawn Ceremony { Kirsten + Ian } Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

Hues of peach and gold accents gave a romantic touch to Kirsten and Ian’s wedding day. Libby’s Flowers brought in fresh greenery to accent the soft elegance in the rose bouquets and centerpieces. The Groom’s bowtie, Mom’s elegant dress, the welcome bags, all boasted shades of pink.  Last but certainly not least was one last touch of “peach”, the signature drink. A peach mojito made to order for guests at the reception fit right into the theme.

Elegant Beachside Ceremony { Jessica + Alistair } Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

It was all about elegance at Jessica and Alistair’s ceremony and reception at Casa Ybel. Shades of pink and blush in the arrangements from Libby’s stood out against navy blue linens and sophisticated silver chargers under the tent. The party continued late into the night at Casa Ybel’s Thistle Lodge where guests were treated to late night flatbreads and sliders and flowing drinks.

The photos from Heather and Patrick’s wedding say it all. The iconic wooden bridge leading onto Casa Ybel’s property provided the stunning backdrop for a post-sunset photoshoot. Libby’s Flowers stood out with deep, bold colors and bright succulents.  With rustic touches and deep plum accents this tented reception was simple yet sophisticated, very fitting to the bride and groom’s style.
