Their ceremony on the beach at Casa Ybel Resort was breathtaking as the waves of the Gulf of Mexico lapped the shore and a gentle sea breeze filled the air. The sunset was one not to be missed! Tropical wedding décor is so chic right now! We fell head over heels for Allyson & Chad’s beach wedding palette of bright colors and tropical blooms. Their intimate group of family and friends joined them at Sanibel Island’s Casa Ybel Resort for a wedding ceremony on the white sand beach and reception on the open air patio.

If it wasn’t for the gorgeous bride, the florals from this intimate beach wedding might have been the show stopper of the day. With bright blue skies and a few clouds drifting in the background, the floral arch at their beach ceremony framed the happy couple as they said their I Do’s. Bright tropical colors accentuated the arch, Ally’s bouquet and the hand painted wedding cake. Casa Ybel’s patio venue was the perfect location for the intimate wedding reception. It was a stunning sunset on the beach that somehow perfectly matched the couple’s wedding color scheme.

Raquel and Greg were such a fun couple to work with, their love and excitement on wedding day obviously shines here. Lush greenery accents could be found everywhere; the arch on the beach, the sweetheart table, and Raquel’s stunning flower crown. Casa Ybel’s white sandy beach hosted the intimate ceremony and guests were wined and dined on Thistle Lodge’s patio. The grounds through out Casa Ybel offered some amazing spots for Raquel and Greg’s first look photos and the Gulf of Mexico proved a stunning backdrop for sunset beach photos.

Intimate Backlawn Ceremony { Kirsten + Ian } Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

Hues of peach and gold accents gave a romantic touch to Kirsten and Ian’s wedding day. Libby’s Flowers brought in fresh greenery to accent the soft elegance in the rose bouquets and centerpieces. The Groom’s bowtie, Mom’s elegant dress, the welcome bags, all boasted shades of pink. Last but certainly not least was one last touch of “peach”, the signature drink. A peach mojito made to order for guests at the reception fit right into the theme.

The colors of the sky over Sanibel vary each and every day. Somehow on Andria and Robert’s wedding day they were the perfect blues to compliment the color scheme they had chosen. The Waterfront Room at Casa Ybel was the ideal venue to witness the skies turn from blues to oranges and pinks as the sun set over the gulf. Along with the beautiful views guests were treated to an expansive buffet for dinner. The banyan trees provided a stunning backdrop for portraits and the covered boardwalk over the pond is an ideal spot for first glimpse shots.

It was brought to our attention recently that we don’t feature Patio receptions enough on here. Patio receptions are hugely popular at Sanibel Island’s Casa Ybel Resort. Dining outdoors with the safety of the lighted Patio awning is ultra-romantic. We especially love Rachel & Jake’s wedding from this past winter.
