It was tropical, yet whimsical. It’s hard to explain just what it was about Janine and Marcus’s beach wedding that made it so enchanting. Perhaps the lush floral spheres lining their sandy aisle or the oversized tropical leaves adorning their arch. Perhaps it was just the sweet sounds of the ocean lapping the beach and the gentle seabreeze that put everyone in the mood for celebrating. Perhaps it was Janine and Marcus. Their Sanibel wedding reception kicked off on Casa Ybel’s ocean front lawn and continued through the night with dinner and dancing in the elegant fabric-lined outdoor tent.
Some weddings have a style that transcends time. For Jessica and Brad, a white wedding with succulents and eucalyptus branches was as timeless as the ocean is endless. They exchanged vows on the sandy beach at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island and dined outdoors under a tent on the resort’s back lawn with the Gulf of Mexico in view.
Getting married on the beach doesn’t mean you have to go casual. Caitlin & Jay’s sophisticated style dressed up this Sanibel Island wedding. Touches of blush, rosewood and sage complemented by gold accents set the tone for a romantic wedding reception overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
Sometimes, it’s easier (and way more fun) to just elope! Abbey & Matt brought only their immediate families and ran off to Florida for an outdoor oceanfront wedding. Their ceremony was on Casa Ybel Resort’s lush Back Lawn overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. What could be a better a reason to escape the cold Ohio winter?
If we had to use one word to describe Karla & Alex’s wedding, it would be FUN. The most important thing about their Sanibel Island wedding weekend was that their guests have fun. They held a tennis tournament and volleyball match the morning of their wedding! We love how laid back these two were. Their beach wedding ceremony and tented back lawn reception were full of joy and laughter. The tropical centerpieces and sand dollar favors were a nod to their Sanibel Island wedding locale.
Amanda and David invited only their nearest and dearest loved ones to their intimate wedding on Sanibel Island. Their vows included their children as did their sand ceremony where the blending of different colored sands represented their lives becoming forever entwined.
