When you plan a destination wedding, it can be a little scary to trust vendors you’ve never met to pull off all of the intricate details you’ve planned for your elegant beach wedding.  One of the things Casa Ybel Resort brags about most when it comes to weddings is our attention to those details.  Brittany & Ken planned their elegant beach wedding from Pennsylvania and put a lot of trust in our Event Manager to make it happen.  From high end linens to a beautiful 4-post bamboo & chiffon arch, this Sanibel Island wedding was practically dripping with wedding eye-candy!  i Heart Film masterfully captured video of this wonderful couple and their perfect beach wedding.

Sanibel Island Wedding Video { Vivian + Scott }

We recently posted photos from Vivian and Scott’s incredible Sanibel Island wedding at Casa Ybel Resort.  We can’t get enough of this tent wedding!  On the day of their wedding, it rained all morning and the winds were unusually high, but moments before the ceremony was slated to begin, the rain subsided.  This video from MVD really captured the beauty of this couple.

We recently had the pleasure of meeting Michael Sasser of Sasser Motion who came out to Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island to film this wonderful wedding promo piece and interview Event Manager, Tori Weatherford.  Flying a small drone over the shell strewn beach at dawn, he was able to capture the serenity and beauty of the Resort and the island.  We are looking forward to seeing Michael at Casa Ybel for weddings in the future!

Sanibel Island, Florida – Southwest Florida Wedding Venue {Sarah + Jason}

Beach weddings aren’t always about sand and shells.  Sarah & Jason proved this to be true with their rustic themed destination wedding at Casa Ybel Resort on Sanibel Island, FL.  They used elements such as burlap and lace, mason jars and twine, even slices of tree stumps to deck out their tented beachfront wedding reception.  Dr. Dan Lamey performed a beautiful ceremony and Damian of MVD Films captured it in this wedding video trailer.
