Enchanted Waterfront Views { Jordan + Clay } Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

You can feel the love in these photos from Jordan and Clay’s wedding, the sweetness of the first dance and in every shot of the flower girls precious faces. An intimate ceremony on the beach was followed by an elegant dinner of Filet Mignon and Poached Lobster Tail. The Waterfront Room was a perfect venue for a smaller party, featuring amazing views of the gulf. The stunning bride was the star of the show but sunset over the Gulf of Mexico came in a close second.

Tent Venue with Dazzling Sunset Views { Laura + Brian } Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

Guests at Laura and Brian’s ceremony and following reception were treated to the complete wedding day celebration. After a champagne welcome and sweet ceremony on the beach, guests made their way to the tented back lawn. A variety of passed appetizers, hand crafted cocktails and tropical tunes from Wiley Entertainment were waiting to be enjoyed. After dinner and dancing the party moved into Thistle Lodge’s bar, snacks and drinks ready for guests to take a break from dancing the night away.

Lush Seaside Landscape {Emily + David} Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

Casa-Ybel-Wedding(2)Guests were met with flutes of bubbling champagne on the beach, billowy white clouds scattered throughout the blue skies over the beach, and strains of ukulele music in the wind. All of these elements made for the perfect beach wedding for Emily and David. Their intimate ceremony on the beach was followed by a mouthwatering dinner on the patio at Thistle Lodge. Beautifully plated grilled filet mignon and butter poached lobster tails were followed by Lady Cakes delicious lemon buttercream filled cake.

Casa Ybel Wedding Reviews – 5 Stars on The Knot

I just returned from my destination wedding at Casa Ybel. If I can give the resort 10 stars I would. First, the accommodations – outstanding with waterfront views for Villa’s. Additionally, the rooms were so spacious that it was the perfect spot for family and guests to gather. It was extra special since all the rooms were together making it easy for all guests to continue mingling throughout the evening and for the entire weekend. The beach – wow…..so beautiful where you can see the sunset on the water. The tent reception was elegant and convenient since no one had to drive anywhere. The white birch arch and flowers from Libby’s were gorgeous. The food and service was off the charts! Most of my guests eat at the best restaurants in the country and the food was on par with them. I can not say enough good things and thanks to Amy S and Jessica……..Casa Ybel is also within an hour from the airport making this destination wedding spot very viable. This is the place for a destination wedding!

These are some of our favorite photos, those last few moments of quiet before the whirlwind begins. The bride reflecting on the importance of this day, her husband to-be waiting for her, and all of the friends and family who have come to witness their declaration of love.

Dede and Charlie said their I Do’s a year ago on the lush green lawn at Casa Ybel and it’s one of those weddings we talk about still. The details were simple yet spectacular under the tent. Bouquets of white lilies were a stunning contrast against the bridesmaids navy dresses. Krista from Impressions Photography did an amazing job incorporating the landscape of Casa Ybel into the story of the couples wedding day, photos we’re still ooh-ing and ahh-ing over.

The colors of the sky over Sanibel vary each and every day. Somehow on Andria and Robert’s wedding day they were the perfect blues to compliment the color scheme they had chosen.  The Waterfront Room at Casa Ybel was the ideal venue to witness the skies turn from blues to oranges and pinks as the sun set over the gulf. Along with the beautiful views guests were treated to an expansive buffet for dinner. Wanderlust Imagery captured some intimate moments from the ceremony and reception, memories the bride and groom will cherish for years to come.

Radiant Sunset Ceremony { Sara + Scott } Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

A blanket of shells cover the beach in front of Casa Ybel and the colors of sunset reflected in the gulf water and in the clouds. This is exactly what Sara and Scott imagined when they were planning their dream Florida wedding. A simple bouquet of greenery on the arch made for a perfect backdrop on the beach as the Bride and Groom said their I Do’s. Dinner on the patio at Thistle Lodge was intimate and romantic. Guests were treated to Grilled Mahi Mahi with fresh pineapple salsa and perfectly grilled Filet Mignon. Of course to top the evening off there was a stunning three-tiered cake for guests with a sweet tooth to enjoy.

Beachside Ceremony { Stephanie + Austin } Casa Ybel Resort – Sanibel Island

For Stephanie and Austin it was important for them to incorporate family into their wedding on the beach at Casa Ybel. The calm waters of the gulf behind them for the ceremony, their daughter took part in the I Do’s and his mother created the simple yet elegant bridal party bouquets. Guests moved in the the Waterfront Room at Thistle Lodge for the reception. Friends and family were treated to an impressive dinner buffet that included Hibachi Salmon and a Beef Strip Loin carving station. The new Mr. and Mrs. had the opportunity to take some stunning photos after dark on the beach and in front of the Thistle Lodge.

Our rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride was everything we hoped it would be! The patio and deck area were the perfect spot – we were even protected from a little rain! The photos we have seen, with the little lights on the roof of the patio which were turned on after dark, looked enchanting! The staff was amazing – very helpful throughout the evening – including helping to get the AV equipment ready for our presentation. Last but not least, the food was great! Several people commented on it! The event coordinator was more than willing to make a few substitutions to the menu due to some of our preferences! Great experience!!
