So, we just received this email from one of our Preferred Photographers, Nick Adams Photography, saying that they’ve got this new cool wedding toy called a Slow Motion Video Booth AND they’re going to give 40% off to the first clients we send their way! THAT COULD BE YOU!

Hi Guys,

I hope everything is good at Casa Ybel,

I just wanted to touch base with you and show the new service we are offering. It’s a Slow Motion Video Booth. It’s the next incarnation of the Photobooth but waaay cooler:) It is truly hilarious. We even play the slow motion clips back to the client on a big screen as the action unfolds. The clients receive an edited version of all the clips set to music (much like the attached example but longer). If the wedding couple do a video with us, then the footage can also be incorporated into their final cut. We have done a couple of events with it and it has been an massive hit.

I will offer a 40% discount to the first clients you send our way, so that you can get a chance to see it in action.

We just had our perfect destination wedding on 11/6/15 at the beautiful Casa Ybel. I am so happy we decided to have our wedding here and couldn’t have been more pleased with the way everything turned out. Tori was absolutely amazing! She was quick to respond to my emails and phone calls and always friendly and professional. She took care of everything! This destination bride didn’t have to worry about anything and really didn’t feel stressed. It was wonderful knowing that everything was taken care of. Our guests are still raving about how much they loved the resort. Every staff member we came in contact with was wonderful. The food was very good and everything was served in a timely manner. I have zero complaints! The wedding was everything I could have hoped for and more!

Best Day Ever

We had our welcome party and wedding/reception at Casa Ybel and to say we were blown away, is an understatement!! Our welcome party was on the covered patio next to the restaurant and our meal was superb! The clam bake shin dig with a prime rib carving station is a MUST, everything tasted amazing! Our wedding day was perfect and the reception that followed in the waterfront room over the restaurant was right out of our dreams! Tori made our day so special and perfect in everyway. I was telling my bride the entire time that something was bound to go wrong and to just take it in stride. Well, the only thing that went wrong was me forgetting the cuff links she gave to me!! Everything Casa Ybel did was perfect in every way! We would do it again in a heartbeat, unfortunately, it was a “once in a lifetime” event. I am a VERy hard critic of food as it’s a personal passion of mine, and I can’t think of anything I would complain about. I would like to personally thank Tori (wedding planner) and Dan, the server from our tasting night a month prior, whom we requested be at our special day, and the rest of the staff who made it all possible.

Wedding Photos of Laura and Eric’s destination wedding

This was a Saturday afternoon intimate wedding in early October. Laura and Eric arrived to Sanibel Island with their family and a few friends from the northeast. I met Laura in the nicely appointed condominium at Casa Ybel for some getting ready wedding photos. I then met Eric outside on the nicely landscaped sidewalk at Casa Ybel Resort. I took some family photos of Eric and his parents, along with wedding photos of the flower girls who were Eric’s nieces. Eric then walked to the ceremony site with the ceremony official, Reverend Joanna Salerno. Laura then came out for some green background photos with her family. Tori, the wedding director at Casa Ybel then brought Laura and her family to the beach in the golf cart. The ceremony started perfectly on time with blue skies and beautiful white clouds that were low on the horizon. After the ceremony some rain fell from a couple of gray clouds. We ran quickly for cover. Just moments later the clouds disappeared and the sun came through the white clouds. I photographed the families together then the bride and groom alone as they walked along the beach.

I have created wedding photos at the Casa Ybel Resort for over twenty years. So I had a sense that as the sun set some beautiful colors were going to reflect off the clouds, and it did! So a few more minutes of sunset wedding photos and the bride and groom were swept away in the wedding golf cart by Jeremy. They arrived to the Thistle Lodge restaurant with plenty of time to enjoy hors d’oeuvre and drinks with their guests. Before dinner, we captured a picture of Laura and Eric cutting their wedding cake. Then some congratulatory wedding toasts were shared by the guests as the first course was being served. Shown here are some of my favorite wedding photos of Laura and Eric’s wedding.

We had the most incredible wedding at Casa Ybel! It was exactly how we imagined it and better! It was absolutely perfect!! EVERYONE raved about the food and how beautiful everything was. Our rooms were perfect and the entire staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. We made the perfect choice when choosing Casa Ybel for the setting for our special day. Both the ceremony on the beach and the reception on the lawn under the gorgeous tent were as gorgeous as something you’d see in a bridal magazine. We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect.
