Laura and her family have been visiting the shores of Sanibel Island and staying at Casa Ybel Resort for years.  It seemed only natural that Laura & Dan fly all the way from Australia (where they live), guests-in-tow, to this magical little island when they decided to tie the knot.  They skipped the beach for the ceremony and had a lawn wedding overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.  We love their sense of humor – from the Australian-American translation guide to their pink flamingos that seemed to show up whenever you least expected.  This is a family that knows how to laugh.  We were honored that they chose Casa Ybel Resort for their destination wedding and we look forward to seeing them year after year.
